BuSy WeEkEnD + JaNiCe'S bIrThDaY ...

Australia is a place where seldom rains.. but it keeps raining these three days.. non stop!! The weather is cold and windy..

Yesterday afternoon, I was awakened by Edison at 12pm and asked me to join him and Lih Ching for lunch at Ding Hao (Dim Sum). We ate a lot of Dim Sum there until three of us were really very full. After that, we went to West Lakes Shopping Centre. Few hours of shopping later, the rain started to rain heavily.. we were caught in the shopping centre as we did not bring an umbrella with us!! After a long waiting time, finally we were able to get into Edison's car and headed home.

As I reached home, I quickly dressed up myself and waiting for Chris to fetch me to Janice's birthday party which was held at XO. The restaurant's atmosphere is absolutely good and romantic but the food there is really expensive. Some of the words in the menu is either Portugese or Italian.. so I really dunno how to order my food, so I just simply choose a dish (Smoked Chicken). After waiting for a period of time, finally our food was served.. I was really shocked when I saw the portion.. A very large plate with only a 6 pieces of chicken dumplings in the middle which cost almost 20 dollars!! Wow.. that's expensive!! Anyway, the dishes were delicious which made me think that it worths the price.. After that, we went to Janice's house to celebrate (cut birthday cake and etc)

We finished our celebration at around 10pm and Tracy, Chris and I decided to go Casino because I had to meet Edison and Lih Ching there.. After that, Lih Ching and I met our other friend and went for pool!!

Anyway, it's a nice weekend to have..

TiRiNg DaY ...

Tiring day.. Started doing my Microeconomics revision this morning!! In the evening, Christopher come and fetch me and we went to Empire for our dinner.. Tracy was with us too!! Chris and Tracy were very hungry so they ordered a lot of food!! Then, we started to eat.. But sooner, we discovered that we were getting full so we decided to take away the left over pizza (we only ate 3 pieces out of 8).. just then, the waiteress told us that we can't take away the pizza as this is the rule of their hotel restaurant!! Damn it.. so Tracy started to squeezed the pizzas into her stomach.. Haha.. It's so funny!!

After our dinner, we went to ice skating!! The weather tonight is cold.. When we entered the Ice Arena.. the temperature inside is damn cold!! We put on our skates and started our journey.. It was my second time to skate as I'd been to Sunway Pyramid last December!! Maybe I really don't have the talent to learn skating as I always don't know how to keep my feet in parallel!! Sienzz.. I think I should apply for the skating lessons there which cost AUD$ 99 for 5 x 55 mins lessons, 5 public admissions and 1 guest admission!! Is this worth??

We left the Ice Arena at about 11pm and headed back to my house!! Despite our hungriness, so we decided to cook some sausages, fish fingers and nuggets to fill up our 'crying' stomach!! Then, we started to play cards after our simple supper!! While we were playing our cards, Edison, my housemate called me and ask me out for karaoke.. We spent 3 hours in K-Box and we drank Vodka (Lime, Berry and Tropical)!!

After the karaoke session, Edison suggested us to go to Hungry Jacks for our 'breakfast' as it was already 5 am the next day!! We had some burgers and french fries..

I arrived home at 5.45 am and now sitting in front of the computer.. Although it's a tiring day with lots of programme but I'm not feeling tired at the moment.. strange, isn't it?

SkY cIty, ThE cAsInO ...

Last night, I went to the Adelaide Casino, Sky City!! It was my first time to Casino because in Malaysia the minimum age to enter is 21 years old. In Australia, the rule is different, you can go to the Casino when you are 18 years old and above.. So last night, me, Chris and Tracy decided to went there!!

At first, I did not want to gamble as I know that the chance to win was small so I just watched Tracy and Chris gamble!! But sooner, I was addicted too!! So I started to gamble.. I tried Blackjack first.. we sat down and started our game!! After that, we tried to play Pokers!! It's quite a good experience to gamble though.. I won AUD$ 70 last night!! Haha..

I spent my night at Tracy house as there's no more bus service at 3 am!!

MaNuTd CoMpLeTeLy DeStRoYeD rOmA bY 7-1 wIn ...

Today, I woke up at 4am (Adelaide time) to watch the quarter-final of Champions League.. Manchester United vs Roma!! 7-1.. can you imagine this score?? Red Devil is back!! Aiming for the Champions League.. It was really an interesting and exciting match which I had ever seen before!! I did not regret that I sacrificed my sleeping time to watch the match..

In the 1st leg, Manutd was lose 1-2 to Roma. Therefore, it's an really important match today for Manchester United as today's winner will go through to the Champions League semi-final!!

In the match, both Michael Carrick and Cristiano Ronaldo scored twice whereas Alan Smith, Wayne Rooney and Patrice Evra scored once!!

I'm really happy and glad to see Alan Smith was in the first eleven name list this morning!! He's been absent on the field since his serious injury last year till now.. Today, it's the first match that he started in the first eleven since he recovered!! Cheers.. He really had a great and impressive performance!! Keep it up, Smithy ~

EaStEr DaY ...

Today is the last public holiday for Easter!! All the shops will be reopen by tomorrow.. Last night, me and Lih Ching slept at Yee Whei's house coz we sang karaoke until 4am this morning!! Tiring.. but at least I didn't stay at home and do nothing in the holiday!!

I'll be having my mid-semester break from tomorrow until 23 April.. Although it's quite a long-term break but don't think that I have the time to hang around!! I've to finish my 2000 word Iraq War essay (due on 13 April), prepare for Business Information System presentation (due on 11 April), revise Microeconomics (will have the test after the break) and apply for my internal program transfer (going to transfer my credit to accounting).. I have a lot of things to do in this holiday, right?

Anyway, I'll still spend some time to relax myself!! E-Spirit is having 50 percent sales now.. lots of blouses and skirts are only 15-50 dollars but I don't think I have that much money to buy it!! But I think I'll find some time to go to Harbourtown because there are having sales!! Can you imagine that I can get a Levi's Jeans for just only AUD$30?? It's Easter Clearance now.. that's why!! Haha..

Today, me, Tracy, Lih Ching and Yee Whei went to Hahndorf, the German Village for lunch. We took an hour bus there.. The most famous food in the village is the beef sausage!! We tried the sausage but it's not cheap though!! I ate fish and chips this afternoon and a chocolate milkshakes which cost me about AUD $20. After that, we had a walk along the village.. relaxing ourself and spending our time in the suburb.

Today is Good Friday. Tracy invited me to her church at Goodwood.. Chris, Cally and Janice were going together too!! We met at Victoria Square at 9.30am for the car to fetch us.. It's my first time to go to church on Good Friday.. a new experience for me!!

After that, we went to "Bie Bu Tong" (Chinatown) for Dim Sum.. Everybody was very hungry because none of us took our breakfast this morning. Despite our hungriness, we ate quite a lot.. the lunch cost us AUD$90.50!! Haha..

It's public holiday today, so most of the shops were closed and it just looked like a dead city!! We hung here and there thinking of some interesting places to shop as we didn't feel like to go home so early.. After a period of time thinking, we finally made our decision to go to Glenelg Beach for a walk!! We went there by tram.. another new experience for me!! Besides that, we went to the arcade for games.. Me and Tracy tried the dancing machine and Chris played the shooting game!! Exciting..

We all had fun today.. and all of us ate some ice-cream before we went back to city. A nice day..

Aiyoyo.. It's a stupid day!!

Today after lunch, I went shopping with Yee Whei, my Melaka friend at Rundle Mall!! Today is pretty windy so I brought my Giordano jacket along. There's a clearance sale for Giordano outlet as they are closing down soon.. so we went inside. We spent quite a long time choosing for our clothes.. When we are about to do our payment at the counter, I discovered that I lost my jacket. I was so panic and keep finding for it.. Despite that it is a Giordano jacket, so I scared that other customers might mistaken and buy my jacket if they like it. After searching for a period of time, finally I found my lovely purple jacket.. It was folded properly and was put on the sales shelve. Haha.. so funny!! Anyway, I bought a pink sweater which cost me AUD$65.. expensive leh.. but no choice coz the weather is getting colder, if not I'll be frozen during the winter!!

Ya.. 5 more matches to go!! Manchester United will be the 2006/07 EPL Champion.. Haha!! Chelsea.. out you go!! Beware.. Red Devil is coming back!! It was so sufferred here coz I can't watch any football matches here.. Luckily, that stupid Kwang Leng told me that there's a software that I can watch EPL online!! Thanks ya..

Today is April Fool's Day.. have you been fooled by your friends? Hope you enjoy the day ya..

An unlucky day for me.. my trip to Kangaroo Island during the Easter holiday has been cancelled due to the shortage of hotel rooms on the island. Sad.. This Friday will be Good Friday and the next few days are the Easter!! All shops in Adelaide are going to close.. Can you imagine the whole city is just like a dead city? It's terrible, right? How am I going to spend my holiday?

By the way, I hate International Relations!! I need to write an essay for 2000 words about US and the Iraq War in my own words.. I noe only a little about the politics but now.. I need to write wars!! What the hell.. tough!! In addition, the journals about the Iraq War in my uni library, Uni of Adelaide and state library have all been loaned!! Help me..
